Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are life-saving devices that can be used to treat sudden cardiac arrest. While they are essential for emergency situations, it’s important to remember that AEDs have a limited lifespan. Once an AED reaches its expiration date, it’s crucial to dispose of it properly. At AED One-Stop Shop, we make it easier for you by offering our free AED Recycling Program.

Why is the AED Recycling Program Important?

Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are life-saving devices that can be used to treat sudden cardiac arrest. While they are essential for emergency situations, it’s important to remember that AEDs have a limited lifespan. Once an AED reaches its expiration date, it’s crucial to dispose of it properly–which is where our AED recycling program comes in.

The AED Recycling Program’s Environmental Impact of Improper Disposal

Improper disposal of AEDs can have serious environmental consequences. These devices contain batteries and electronic components that, if not recycled correctly, can release harmful substances into the environment. These substances can contaminate soil and water, posing risks to both wildlife and human health.

AED One-Stop Shop is dedicated to promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility. Our free AED Recycling Program offers a convenient and eco-friendly solution for disposing of your old AEDs. By recycling your old AEDs, you’re helping to reduce electronic waste and minimize your environmental impact.
